Boxing tonight
You have to admire Joe Joyce for taking on Zhang again, 2 good fighters not getting a look in due to the YouTube circus, and the reluctance of the top 4 to fight anyone that could beat them

Re: Boxing tonight
Joyce says he won't retire after that defeat - which is fair enough: his decision, of course.

But from now on, his management and coaches are might have to cherry-pick his fights even more carefully because he evidently has a major issue with southpaws. Little chance he'll want a shot at Usyk (another lefty) now.

Re: Boxing tonight
What a complete shitshow from Joyce.

Zhang barely had to throw a punch - although the knockout right hand was certainly a good shot.

But Joyce was completely perplexed by the southpaw. Like he'd never seen one before. Same as the first fight. Didn't know what to do at all - where to stand, where to put his lead foot, which direction to rotate to. Totally flummoxed.

With a southey, basically you keep your left foot on the outside of your opponent’s right foot - it helps you to control the ring because you're in the better position to attack 'and' move. And keep circling to your left. This is boxing 1.01 and Joyce managed to forget it several times in little more than two rounds.

Gotta say it makes you question Joyce's fighting "IQ" or training etc. He's a big, tough lad. But that these two fights have left serious question marks about his professional savvy.

Zhang v The Pikey. Seems like the only show in town.? Have it in China. Make Vegas look like Toy Town.

Feel a little sorry for Zhang. Yet another boxer the pikey fraud will duck.

I can't see Joe Joyce winning this. It'll all be over within 3 rounds. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: Boxing tonight
First fight was so one sided I don’t see this one being any different.
